SurgiCode Frequently Asked Questions

Who is SurgiCode designed to help?

The SurgiCode system is designed as a tool to assist inpatient hospital coders to easily find ICD-10 PCS (procedure) codes.

What coding formats are available on SurgiCode?

SurgiCode currently focuses primarily on ICD-10 PCS codes, however we are in the process of extending our natural medical language search technology to CPT codes as well.

What happens when the trial’s up? Will I be charged?

No. We don’t ask for your credit card up front, so we can’t charge you until you decide you want to purchase SurgiCode. You’re always in control. At any time during the trial, or when the trial is up, you can decide what you want to do. If you want to continue, we’ll ask for your credit card then. If not, no problem — you can click a single button to cancel, no questions asked.

What if we need more than 30 days to evaluate SurgiCode?

If you haven’t purchased SurgiCode before the trial ends, and you feel you need a little more time to make a decision, let us know. We’re happy to extend your trial.

Is there any limit to the number of searches I perform?

No. You can search as many operations in SurgiCode as you’d like. And, if your operations don’t currently return results, let us know. We’re building this tool for people like you and we’re happy to update it regularly. Your input is helpful.

Do you have enterprise pricing for large coding groups and hospital systems with multiple users?

Not yet. We are gathering requirements for features related to this functionality. We recommend reaching out to us and helping to shape these features. Please contact us.

If you have questions we didn't cover, we'd be happy to answer them.
